At Clevedon Pride’s AGM on the 10th January Jo Lea-Jones was elected unopposed as Chair of the Community Interest Company that raises money through events and fairs for the Christmas lights and planting in Clevedon’s town centre as well as organising litter picking and volunteers to carry out planting.
Jo said last night ‘It is a great honour to be elected as chair and to continue the excellent efforts of Louise Player plus all the other Trustees and Officers of Clevedon Pride. Clevedon Pride is now established as part of Clevedon’s community life. I hope that during the next year we can encourage other individuals and companies to give their time in making Clevedon such a great place to live. We also would like to extend further links to other voluntary organisations in the town as well as with North Somerset District Council and Clevedon Town Council.
Clevedon Pride is an organisation made up of private individuals in Clevedon that give their time to make Clevedon a pleasant place to live and visit.
